True Love

Love "Now what is there to be afraid of ? A man who is weak cannot
love. Only a strong person can love. If you talk of love, first of all
see whether you are strong enough to love or not. Loving is not an
easy thing, even carnal love, even loving your beloved in the ordinary
sense is not an easy thing. You have to have a very strong moral
concept. Otherwise every third minute people start changing their
loves. That kind of a love has no meaning. You have to have very firm
ideas. Not only ideas in your brain but built within you. Very few
people can have a love as Romeo had, I can tell you this. It's easy to
think that you are a Romeo. It's different. You can think you are the
King of England, it's alright, but you don't become that way. So to be
Romeo itself you have to have a tremendous character, a tremendous
sense of sacrifice and love and understanding of what you want. You
want to love thats all, nothing beyond or before. I mean a man, when
he falls in love, he falls in love for ever and ever and ever. If he
falls in love many times it can not be love. So that experience also
is a sort of a forbidden fruit for most of you.
So to love God is even more difficult without seeing Him, without
knowing Him, with-out knowing His bounties. Without getting
realisation it is very difficult."

Role Of Prayer

- Role Of Prayer-

"Prayer is a very great thing for Sahaja Yogis. Pray with your heart...You have to pray. All these prayers are going to help you. Then ask for the greatest prayer which you must ask... "

"Please keep me away from EGO that gives me ideas that I am superior to others, or in any way that takes away my meekness and my humility.Give me natural humility, by which I can penetrate into the hearts of people."
"Just you have to bend your head and you go up to your heart. You have to bend your head and there is your heart ... where resides the SPIRIT, be with it."

The Spirit : Divine Bliss & Awareness

Tad Niskala by Adi Shankaracharya

Om, I am neither the mind, intelligence, ego nor 'chitta', neither the ears nor the tongue, Nor the senses of smell and sight, neither ether nor air. I am Eternal Bliss and Awareness, I am Shiva! I am Shiva!

Subtle System Chakra Mapping

There are chakras through out the entire body. To learn how the Subtle System is mapped in the head, torso, hands, arms, legs and feet is estential for growing in Sahaja Yoga. What is amazing is that as one becomes more sensitive to vibrations, these subtle system mapping facts will be proven to the practioner through their own direct experience of their nervous system
It is easier first to learn the hands and the main subtle system first. Then the feet and head. And finally the arms and legs. As you will see there is a pattern in the main subtle system and the arms and the legs. Also the hands and feet are very similar with one exception (Toes and Thumbs and middle fingers and toe).

Meditation : Twice a Day

Actually, we cannot "do" meditation. Meditation is a state of consciousness into which we spontaneously enter as the Kundalini pierces through the Sahasrara. This is a momentous, if subtle, happening. It is the yoga, the union with the Divine and the beginning of an altogether new awareness. It is this awareness that we must now sustain. However, in our busy distracting environment, this is not always easy. Our attention ("chitta") is easily distracted and tends to return to its old, familiar habits. And when we may wonder if indeed we did touch a new awareness - or was it a dream?...It was no dream, but our attention needs to be strengthened and to settle into its new seat at Sahasrara ("crown chakra").

How to Begin/ Balance

How to Begin : After Self - Realization
In a clean, quiet place, set Shri Mataji’s picture with a candle before it.
Sitting directly on the Mother Earth is ideal.
Sit comfortably with hands open relaxed on your lap, palms upward. This can be done in conjunction with Foot soaking. After raising your Kundalini and putting yourself in Bandhan, keeping your attention loose, see what sensations (i.e. tingling, numbness, slight heat) you may feel in your fingers or in the location of your body at the location of the Chakras.

self realization

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi
"Saha" means 'with', "Ja" means 'born', "Yoga" means union with the all pervading power of Divine love. It is a subtle power which does all living work and which cannot be felt at the level of human awareness. To connect us to this subtle energy which permeates into every atom and molecule, there is a power of pure desire which is placed in the sacrum bone (sacred bone) of the human beings, which is called as Kundalini. The Kundalini can be awakened spontaneously by the power of Sahaja Yoga. This Kundalini has to ascend and pierce through six solid centres which are placed in the spinal cord and in the brain. The last breakthrough is the actualization of the "Baptism" as one feels the cool breeze of the Holy Ghost (the Ruah; the Ruh; the Adi Shakti; the Athena) emitting out of one's fontanelle bone area.

Sahaja Yoga means that a seeker of truth has birth-right to get his self-realization spontaneously. At the very outset, one has to be a seeker of truth and with scientific attitude one should approach the subject. It should be treated respectfully like a hypothesis and if found by experiments as truth, should be accepted by honest people in the spirit of honesty. Because this is for one's total benevolence and for the benevolence of all the world.
